What is RUST?
RUST modern home began when we decided to be brave and turn a love of vintage decor, unique finds, and a passion for home design into a beautiful store in Bath, Ohio.
Our goal has always been to offer a thoughtfully curated selection of vintage pieces in a range of styles and price points, in the hopes that everyone who walks through our doors can find something special.
We also take pride in supporting small businesses and local artisans by carrying their handcrafted goods in our Marketplace. Every item—whether a gift, home decor piece, or specialty food product—is thoughtfully selected for its uniqueness and quality.
It has been truly incredible having the opportunity to experiment with design and getting to know all of our amazing customers.
Simply put, RUST is a dream come true.
Our family moved a lot in our early years, fostering my ability to make each new house feel like home. I love to combine modern elements with vintage ones in each space, but most important to me is to have pieces that spark core memories for our family.
Having spent a lot of years in California, my personal style tends to be more minimalist, organic, and Scandinavian but I love breaking “rules” and designing spaces that are truly one-of-a-kind.
At the store I loving getting to play with a wide array of styles and helping others layer unique looks of their own. I strongly believe that our homes should be a reflection of ourselves and the place we feel the most at peace.
